Patient who visits us with a problem of crowding and malposition of his teeth, combined with a periodontal problem.
First, periodontal disease was treated, then orthodontic treatment was performed to align the teeth.
Due to the gingival retraction caused by the disease and the triangular shape of the patient’s teeth, once orthodontic treatment is complete, black triangles with an unsightly appearance may appear between the teeth.
To solve this problem, today we opt for a minimally invasive technique: home whitening and subsequently the placement of composites (such as synthetic enamel) between the teeth.
In this way, without any modification to the patient’s teeth, we conceal the black triangles, giving the teeth a more square shape and thus improving the appearance of the smile. + info: http://www.clinicacervera.es/ca/estetica
