60-year-old patient who comes to the clinic to rehabilitate the absence of the first upper right premolar, presenting extraction performed at an external center.

When performing the radiographic examination, we observe that the upper right canine is also included within the maxillary bone (as shown in the image of X-ray 1).

Seeing few possibilities of repositioning it through a combination of surgery and orthodontics, we opted for surgical extraction and rehabilitation of the space using an implant and a provisional screw-retained crown in the shape of a canine (shown in image 2). Later, orthodontic treatment is planned to improve the position of the anterior teeth and achieve a more harmonious and aesthetic smile. + info: more details of the treatment:
