Prevention and Minimal Intervention Dentistry The entire team at Clínica Cervera attended the course: “Minimal Intervention Dentistry.

Principles and clinical application”.

The day consisted of a part aimed at doctors and given by Doctors Patricia Gatón and Esther Ruiz de Castañeda, where they developed the concept of prevention, with the aim of proposing a new vision that improves and stabilizes patients’ oral health, and preventive treatment with remineralization of incipient lesions (initialization of cavities that minimally affect the dental structure).

On the other hand, Dr.

Raúl Fernández, carried out the theoretical and practical part aimed at the rest of the team (hygienists, assistants and receptionists), where he highlighted the fundamental role they have in the patient’s relationship with the dental clinic and the importance of educating in prevention and minimally invasive multidisciplinary dentistry, accompanied by the different stages of treatment: identification, prevention, treatment and maintenance.
