Correction of anterior crossbite

Success stories

Correction of anterior crossbite

Due to this malocclusion, the anterior teeth suffered from parafunctional forces and trauma, so they gradually weakened and wore away despite the patient’s young age.

The objectives were to correct the bite by centering the midline, uncrossing the anterior incisors, repositioning the lower left lateral incisor and aligning the teeth.

They were achieved through orthodontic treatment with braces for 24 months.

Finally, to stabilize the bite and correct the wear mentioned above, small incisal reconstructions were performed on the upper incisors.
