Digital Smile Design is a new computerized design technique that allows for the aesthetic improvement of the smile, tailored to each patient.<\/p>\n
For this reason, it takes into account the physiognomy of the mouth, as well as the physical features and expression of each person, so it is a completely individualized proposal.<\/p>\n
At Cl\u00ednica Cervera, we carry out Digital Smile Design in three phases:

Taking records Through photographs, videos and molds, we analyze the patient’s smile to evaluate the aspects that we can improve, such as alterations in the size or position of the teeth, asymmetries, etc.
\n##NUM##2.<\/p>\n
Computerized smile study We work with plaster molds and photographs on the computer to design the new shape, position and color of the teeth.<\/p>\n
In this task we involve the patient, who can provide their opinion and preferences about what their future smile will be.<\/p>\n
Finally, in plaster molds we model with wax the design that we have previously defined digitally.

Placing the design in the mouth The patient \u201ctests\u201d their new smile.<\/p>\n
From the wax model, we obtain a model or mock-up of acrylic or resin material that exactly reproduces the final result.<\/p>\n
This is a simulation of the treatment that we place directly in the patient’s mouth.<\/p>\n
New photographs are taken that will allow the patient to see the differences between before and after.<\/p>\n
This way, you can safely decide whether you want to undergo the aesthetic change.<\/p>\n
