\n ##BULLET##work with the “Vacances in Peace” project We take care of the smiles of those who need it most At Cl\u00ednica Cervera, we feel very committed to the well-being of the most vulnerable and, for this reason, we are proud to participate in the “Vacances in Peace” project for another year.<\/p>\n
This initiative, which has been carried out in Girona since 1995, allows Sahrawi boys and girls from refugee camps in Tindouf, Algeria, to spend the summer in a safe and healthy environment with host families from the Girona regions.<\/p>\n
This year, 39 Sahrawi children have arrived in Girona thanks to this program, which offers them the opportunity to participate in recreational activities, such as summer camps, access to varied food and essential services that are scarce or non-existent in their camps.<\/p>\n
Among these services, oral health plays a crucial role, and at Cl\u00ednica Cervera, we are committed to performing dental checkups on these little ones, ensuring that their smile is cared for with the same care and dedication that we give to all our patients.<\/p>\n
In addition, for the second consecutive year, the program has incorporated an integrative aspect with the Wani bik project, in which 8 children with functional diversity will be welcomed at the Palau de Girona Special Education School, where they will receive the attention and dedication they need.<\/p>\n
This inclusive effort reflects the entire community’s commitment to inclusion and support for those who need it most.<\/p>\n
We know that these children have very difficult living conditions in the camps. During their stay in Girona, they will not only benefit from a welcoming environment, but also from complete health care, which includes dental check-ups.<\/p>\n
