Your messages, their smile: the impact of Somriures Solidaris

Thank you for making it possible. At Clínica Cervera we believe in the importance of small gestures.

This Christmas, thanks to your participation in the Solidarity Smiles campaign, we have demonstrated together that with just a few words you can brighten someone’s life.

Today we want to share with you the result of this solidarity initiative and the impact it has had on the elderly in the Cáritas Diocesana de Girona accompaniment program.

A simple gesture with a big impact During the campaign, many of you took a moment to write a New Year’s wish for an elderly person.

Messages of love, encouragement, good wishes for the future… Words that might seem simple, but carry a great emotional charge.

What was once a small gesture on your part has today transformed into something much bigger.

Thanks to the volunteers of Cáritas Diocesana de Girona, these messages have reached their destination and have achieved what we hoped for: making those who received them smile and move.

The excitement of receiving a special message The images we share today are proof of the impact of this campaign.

In them, you can see the smiles, surprise and gratitude of the elderly when they read the messages that you wrote with so much love.

Some have kept these words as a small treasure, a sign that someone, somewhere, has thought of them and wished them the best.

For many of these people, day to day life can be lonely.

Therefore, receiving an unexpected message, full of affection, has been a spark of light in his routine.

We are very happy to have been able to contribute to making your start of the year a little warmer and more special.

Thank you for making it possible. From Clínica Cervera we want to thank everyone who participated in the Solidarity Smiles campaign.

Without your enthusiasm and your words, this initiative would not have been possible.

We also want to thank the volunteers from Cáritas Diocesana de Girona, who have played a fundamental role in the campaign.

Thanks to their work, these messages have reached the hands and hearts of those who needed them most.

We know that health goes beyond physical well-being: it is also emotional, and feeling supported and valued is an important part of it.

That’s why we are convinced that these small gestures make the world a more humane and welcoming place.

We will continue to support solidarity initiatives that make a difference.

Because in the end, the most important thing is to continue building, among all of us, a more empathetic and close society.
